How to select the right Light Diffusion PC material for LED lighting to balance transmittance and hiding power?
Choosing the optimal PC light diffusion material is critical for LED performance. Here are 3 key factors to consider:
（1）Transmittance vs. Haze: For bulb covers, we recommend a transmittance of 88%-92% with a haze of 99%. For panel lights, a slightly lower transmittance might be needed to ensure no LED "hot spots" are visible.
（2）Flame Retardancy (Safety): Ensure the material meets UL94 V0 or V2 standards, especially for indoor and commercial lighting fixtures.
（3）Aging Resistance: Look for Anti-UV modified PC to prevent yellowing over 3-5 years of continuous use.
